15- In this scene, Joseph is taking Mary to his house. His son is accompanying them.

16- Joseph is known to be a carpenter. His son is carrying a basket with tools. He and his father is about to leave the house by saying farewell to Mary who seems displeased.

17-  The Annunciation

This scene is depicted on the pendentive of the northern dome in the inner narthex. Mary is depicted next to a well with a jug in hand and the other hand is open to sky. The Archangel comes to annunciate that she will have a baby who is the Messiah.

19- Saint Paul the Apostle.

20- In this mosaic panel, Theodore Metokhite, the founder of the church presenting a model of the church to Jesus Christ. He is knelt down and wearing royal clothes with turban. Jesus dressed in purple and blue holding Holy Book in his left hand. He is seated on a golden throne embellished with precious stones. The mosaic is inscripted as ‘’Jesus Christ, The Chora of the Living.’’
